This is the core operational strand of HPCTRAIN. It focuses on building and maintaining a diverse portfolio of traineeship opportunities across supercomputing centres, research institutions and industry.
It manages the full lifecycle of the traineeships, from publishing opportunities and evaluating applications, to matching candidates with hosts and supporting placements throughout their duration.
By combining placements within the core consortium and expanding opportunities through third-party host organisations, we can ensure both stability and growth in the programme, while creating meaningful mobility between academia, HPC centres and industry.
