The European HPC Professional Traineeship Programme (HPCTRAIN), an EU-wide project funded by EuroHPC and the European Commission, has taken another major step towards strengthening HPC skills in Europe with the opening of its first traineeship opportunities as well as its continuous call for organisations wishing to host future trainee placements.

The European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) launched the HPCTRAIN project, designed to empower young professionals with traineeships in high-performance computing (HPC).

The HPCTRAIN consortium formally launched the European HPC Professional Traineeship Programme at its kick-off meeting in Brussels on 11 February.
