INESC TEC (Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science) is a private non-profit research institution and Associate Laboratory based in Porto, Portugal. With over 700 researchers, it is the largest R&D organisation in Portugal, covering the domains of Computer Science, Industry and Innovation, Networked Intelligent Systems, and Power and Energy.
INESC TEC acts as an interface between the academic world, industry and services, and public administration in Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Electronics. Knowledge and results generated through fundamental research are applied in technology transfer projects to ensure social relevance.
INESC TEC has extensive experience in European collaborative R&D projects and plays an active role in HPC, data analytics, and artificial intelligence research and training.
